Summer 2019 Photo Contest Winners

Carbon County Visitors’ Council (CCVC) conducts two photo contests per year.

The 2019 Summer Photo Contest ran from July through October 2019. On November 20th, the CCVC Board of Directors judged a total of 36 photo entries.

The Summer 2019 CCVC Photo Contest gave away more cash prizes than ever before with a $150 prize for first, $100 for 2nd and $50 for honorable mention after the CCVC Board doubled the cash prize awards for 2nd and Honorable Mention starting with the Summer 2019 Photo Contest.

CCVC uses many of the photos in tourism related advertising through a variety of advertising channels. The Carbon County Visitors Council would like to thank all the participants in the Winter 2018/2019 Photo Contest. Photos will be used to promote the beauty & uniqueness of Carbon County as a tourism destination.

1st Place: Elizabeth Wood

The 1st Place winner of the Carbon County Visitors Council photo contest is Elizabeth Wood with her photo taken at the Buck Springs Arena in Saratoga. Elizabeth has won the $150 top prize. Elizabeth Campbell, 2nd Place Winner

The 2nd Place winner of the Carbon County Visitors Council photo contest is Elizabeth Campbell with her photo taken in Dixon, Wyoming. Elizabeth has won a $100 cash prize. Congratulations Elizabeth and thanks for helping us promote tourism in Carbon County through your photography.

Alexandra Ricci, Honorable Mention

The $50 honorable mention winner of the Carbon County Visitors Council photo contest is Alexandra Ricci with her photo taken in Encampment, WY. Alexandra has won a $50 cash prize for her photo. Congratulations Alexandra and thanks for helping us promote tourism in Carbon County through your photography.
